pete rose - big boy caprice?

I think I may be going crazy. Every time I see that ESPN commercial for "Hustle" I keep on thinking that Pete Rose looks/acts like Big Boy Caprice. Big Boy Caprice was the villian from 1989's "Dick Tracy". Al Pacino played him. I don't really think they look alike but there is some similarity there I can't put my finger on. Also, Karate Kid was on last night. I was about to ask a question about who you feel more guilty about being attracted to - Elizabeth Shue in "Karate Kid" or Natalie Portman in "Beautiful Girls" but then I IMDB'd Karate Kid and it turns out that Elizabeth Shue was 21 years old when Karate Kid was released. Oh, by the way, Ralph Macchio was 23.
